1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

NON-SKID II: Is a tough, fast-curing, two-component polyurethane enamel, which produces a uniquely hard and durable coating film. It holds a unique ceramic particle that gives the surface a slip-resistance even when inclined and wet. NON-SKID II will demonstrate unsurpassed semi-gloss retention, color-retention, and chalk-resistance, when utilized for exterior coating situations. NON-SKID II will provide outstanding resistance to water and humidity, stains, chemicals, and solvents, as well as tremendous scuffing, marking, and impact-resistance. In summary, the overall toughness, durability, and weather-resistance of NON-SKID II polyurethane enamels, make them the ideal choice for demanding product applications for architectural/maintenance situations that require the utmost in exterior durability. NON-SKID II is an ambient/slow moisture-cure coating, and carries three times the amount of ceramic particles as does our regular NON-SKID for traction on bridges and roadways. NON-SKID II is a self-leveling formula for an outstanding finish. The polyurethane enamels have been in use for architectural structures and OEM applications.

2. APPLICATION METHODS:

Surfaces must be clean and dry before application. Any surfaces with loose or flaking old paints or corrosion must be removed before applying. High-pressure water-blasting is as effective as light sand-blasting in removing loose or flaking surfaces if you use 5000 psi. As a rule, "a coating is only as good as the surface it covers." Grease, oil, waxy substance, dirt, etc. must be cleaned from surfaces. Old paints can remain if bonded solidly to surfaces. NON-SKID II can bond to metal, masonry, wood and other porous surface substrates. NON-SKID II can be applied best by brush, squeegee or foam applicator. Airless sprayers can be used using a 32-thousandth tip and removing all in-line and/or handle filters.

APPLICATOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
As per OSHA regulations for painting, the applicator must, at all times during use: Wear skin and eye protection. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes. If solution does come in contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and contact a physician for medical attention. Avoid prolonged contact with skin or breathing of spray mist.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Non-Skid element: New ceramic compound that stays suspended after mixing to provide a more even dispersion of non-skid element for excellent traction and longer wearing all weathering conditions. This ceramic compound does not add to the friction wearing of the coating that sand and other more commonly used aggregates impose on the coating surface.
Catalyst ratio: This is a two-part mixture. Mixed 1 part cure agent to 3 parts base. Mix on job site before application. Pot life is 6-8 hours at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
Packaged unit: Shipped as a 4-gallon kit. Three-gallon base in a pail with a gallon can of curing agent separate. On job site, pour the gallon of curing agent into the 3-gallon pail of base and mix to have a finished product mixture of 4 gallons. Let set for 30 minutes, then apply.
