Acrylic Stucco is a one-part mixture of high-performance
acrylics specially blended with an aggregate compound to provide a stucco texture. It is used as a one-coat system to apply a stucco look over all substrates without the labor and cost of
additional steps and primer. It can be applied to metal, concrete, masonry and wood.
SURFACE PREPARATION
As a single coat system over metal, concrete, masonry and wood, and Multi-Ceramic as a heat barrier:
Power wash surface (3,500 psi) with a Chlor-Rid to remove loose or flaking paint, rust and salts, and to clean the surface of dirt, oil, tar, grease and film.
Surface must be completely dry.
As a one-coat system (metal, concrete, masonry and wood) or for new construction (metal, concrete, masonry and wood):
Power wash surface (3,500 psi) with a citrus cleaner to remove dirt, oil, tar, grease and film.
Surface must be completely dry. Previously coated (metal, concrete, masonry and wood)
Power wash surface (3,500 psi) with Chlor-Rid to remove loose or flaking paint, rust, and salts, and to clean the surface of dirt, oil, tar, grease and film.
Surface must be completely dry before applying the coating.
If existing coating surface is glossed, it must be sanded and roughed before application, no gloss.
NOTE: If pack rust, scale or bright glossy surfaces exist, they must be removed by grit blast, power tool or needle gun. Once removed, begin with step 1 (power wash).
MIXING
Acrylic Stucco should be mixed by power drill with paddle for ten minutes.
Begin application.
NOTE: Once a container is opened and not fully used, snap the lid back in place and the product can be utilized at a future date (the lid must be firmly in place).
POT LIFE: Four hours at 70F. degrees if container is left open. |
APPLICATION

If application is by trowel, use a standard stucco trowel.
If application is by spray, use a Graco Texspray 1500 with a flexhead pole gun for a smoother texture surface while wet.

Overcoating window is 24 hours at 70F. degrees or longer.
Fully cures in 7 days.
